A week or so ago I posted a 360 degree flash picture of a church at the top of hill in Devon. It was an amazing location and a lovely day so I thought that I would take lots of pictures to enable me to create an image like this. I already had Autopano version 1 installed on my machine which allowed me to create a standard stitched together picture.

Autopano Giga by Kolor

Its probably one of the best programs that I’ve found when looking for this kind of software. With most of picture stitching software you have to find the pictures and get them in the correct order and then press stitch. Well all of that is handled for you, point the program at a directory of photos and it will attempt to stitch them together. Two years ago I went to New York and I did not believe I had anything that would stitch together. But pointing autopano at it and suddenly I had day and night sky lines from the top of the rock and empire states.

Recently they have release Autopano Giga which I think is the next great advance to a brilliant program. It allows the use of large pictures and the best of all the export to flash that you see below.

Thanks Kolor for one of the best stitching programs on the market.
