I was sat in the garden doing some volunteer work on my netbook. Sadly I went back to windows to do this because my linux is still not setup quite right. I’m sure I’ll post about this shortly when I find the time to read all the documentation to get things setup correctly.

Anyway back to the problem I was sat with a friend attempting to organise some things, when I remembered I had an email from someone that had what I needed in it. So grabbed the email and looked at the attachments and saw it was a WPS file. Good old windows works 
. Well I thought not a problem I’ll just fire up Open Office and load it into that….. well no actually because Open Office does not understand a WPS file!!! I admit I only did a quick google search because I did not have time to look in depth but it appeared that WPS files could not be opened in Open Office.
I felt really let down by Open Office .
