Well I was beginning to think that I would never get the new blog post sorted out. But isnt wireless a fantastic piece of technology, it means that I can sit in my garden when its lovely and warm and blog. Even when I’m sat in the garden the wireless connect is really really good.
One thing that I’ve not quite understood is the need for mobile wireless at least from my perspective and probably most peoples. If I was a high powered business man that travelled alot I can see why it would be useful having the ability to check my emails on the move. The handful of times that Ive been away on business the lack of mobile wireless has been offset by hotel connections that are cheaper (just). But when I’m away on holiday its so nice (god forbid I’m going to say this) to be away from the computer.
Why do I need to check my friends status on facebook? I dont care I’m on holiday…. I’ve seen a number of people updating there facebook status when on holiday. I’m guility of doing it when on a business trip but so far never when on holiday.
MAybe I’ve missed the point of it all or maybe I’m just not as big a geek as I first thought…
